It began as a small nature photography competition in the memory of nature photographer and wildlife enthusiast, Windland Smith Rice. The competition grew over the years to become a major annual nature photography exhibit with a juried contest receiving over 25,000 entries per year.
This year’s nature photography exhibit at the Smithsonian features over fifty images captured around the globe. The photographs of animals, landscapes and wildlife confirm photography’s power to move, educate, persuade and connect.
Going on 10 years, we continue to provide all color control, printing and mounting of photography and information panels. The exhibit is on display through April 20,2015. To learn more visit the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History’s website or Nature’s Best Photography.
